Enabling students to dive into the culture they are studying and appreciate the nuances that only come through spending time in a foreign place.
Schneier Global Study Fellowship 2026
The is excited to once again offer YU undergraduates and Revel graduate students a limited number of fellowships of up to $2,000 to pursue original research in the humanities and social sciences and intensive language learning abroad.
Applicants should send a one-page description of your project by May 1, 2025, to perelis@yu.edu. Include a 250 word description of the project, short budget, an itinerary and contact information for one faculty reference who could discuss the merits of your project.
Priority will be given to projects that include travel to countries where the participant has not previously spent a considerable amount of time.
Upon return students will submit a 2-3 page report on their activities and prepare a short oral presentation to be shared with the Schneier Program community in the early Fall.
Recipients must comply with University travel regulations for their safety.
